Reinmuth, Rosalynde Corrine 84

 

Rosalynde Corrine Reinmuth, age 84, of Howard Lake, passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at Cokato Manor.

Funeral service: Friday, September 13, 2013, 2:00 pm at St. James Lutheran Church in Howard Lake

Visitation: Thursday, September 12, 2013, 4-7 pm with 6:30 prayer at Swanson-Peterson Funeral Home in Howard Lake and 1 hour prior to services at the church.

Rosalynde Corinne Reinmuth was born July 11, 1929 in Cornish Township, Sibley County, Minnesota the daughter of Clarence and Elizabeth (Anderson) Nelson.  She was baptized and confirmed in Cokato Lutheran Church, Cokato, Minnesota.  On August 29, 1948, she was married to Edward Reinmuth with Reverend Oscar Peterson officiating at Cokato Lutheran Church.  Their marriage was blessed with two children and 65 years of blessings together.

They lived in Howard Lake where she joined Ed as a member of St. James Lutheran Church.  She became active in the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League and served as a Sunday School teacher.  For many years she was employed by the Howard Lake School District as the head cook of the school’s lunch program for grades 1 through 12.

It was on September 10, 2013 while a resident of the Cokato Care Center that Rosalynde Reinmuth was called to her eternal rest at the age of 84 years, 1 month and 30 days.

She was preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Elizabeth Nelson; brother DeWayne Nelson (Lois); sisters Agnes (Ed) Matilla, Inez (John) Mezyke, Doris Bacon; and brother-in-law Bob Johnson.

Rosalynde is survived by her husband Edward; daughter Diane (Paul) Kobernusz; son Ron Reinmuth; three grandsons Jeffery (Dana) Kobernusz, Kelly (Raeanna)Kobernusz, Terry  (special friend Julie) Kobernusz; nine great-grandchildren; sister Muriel Johnson; brother-in-law Kenneth Bacon; nieces; nephews; and many other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers were Richard Sonstegard, Jeffery Kobernusz, Kelly Kobernusz, Terry Kobernusz, Jim Johnson and Glenn Nelson

Honorary pallbearers were her great-grandchildren Ashley, Zach, Emma, Elizabeth, Noah, Micah, Gadise, Jonah and  Riley.

Officiating at the celebration of her life was Reverend Michael Nirva and Reverend David Taylor. Nancy Butterfass served as organist with special music by soloist Marge Stueven and the LWML.  Interment took place at the Howard Lake Cemetery.
