“PUNK” Lundeen, Jonathan 65

Jonathan “Punk” Lundeen, age 65, passed away December 27, 2021 at Lake Ridge Care Center in Buffalo, MN.  Punk is now at home with his Heavenly Father after a battle with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.

Punk was born to Chester and Margaret Lundeen December 3, 1956, in Hutchinson, MN.  He was given the nickname Punk at a very young age.  He was united in marriage to his high school sweetheart, Julie Danielson on October 3, 1976.  Punk and Julie were blessed with 2 children.

Punk worked at Northland Canning Factory/Faribault Foods for more than 25 years, many of those years as a Field Manager.  He also owned his own used Car Dealership and Scrap Metal Business.  Punk was famous for his large city-wide garage sale, his love of auctions, flea markets, or any good deal that came his way.

Punk loved spending time with his family, and his grandchildren were very special to him.  Punk greatly appreciated his many friends and took joy in helping others.  Punk was a guy that if you needed something, he more than likely had it and was willing to let you use it.  He enjoyed every minute of his life and lived it to the fullest.  We will miss his way of making every moment of life exciting.

Punk is survived by his wife Julie of 45 years.  His son Derek and his wife Brittany and their children, Lydia, Knox, Chet, and Isla.  His daughter Bethany Linder and her husband Jake and their children Victoria, Annika, Erica, and Micah.  He is also survived by his brothers, Dan of Rapid City, SD, Tom of South Haven, MN, Tim of Ray, MN, Todd (Carlyn) of Darwin, MN, and sister Mary (Ken) Thompson of Shevlin, MN.

Punk was preceded in death by his parents Chester and Margaret Lundeen.

A Memorial Service will be held January 25, 2022 at 10 a.m. at Highland Community Church in Cokato, MN.  Arrangements by Swanson Peterson Funeral Home, Cokato, MN.
