Nolan, Marie E. 70

Marie Eleanor Nolan, age 70, of French Lake, passed away peacefully Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Marie was born Oct. 21, 1942, to Harry and Eleanor (Gunderson) Salmela. She was a 1960 graduate of Cokato High School. Marie married Harlen (Harley) Nolan Dec. 3, 1960. She worked for 16 years at Richwell Furniture in Cokato, and at Miller Manufacturing for 14 years.Marie looked forward to spending as much time as possible with her family and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Harley, of French Lake; sons Mark (Nancy), and Dan (Deborah), all of Cokato; grandchildren Penny (Adam) Miller, Chrissy (Matthew) Olson, and Derek Nolan; and great-grandchildren Isaac and Savannah Miller, Hunter Olson, and one more baby on the way. Marie is further survived by her brother, Ron (Kathy) Salmela; a sister-in-law, Pat Salmela; many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Robert Salmela.

Funeral service: Sunday, December 9th, 2012, 2:00 pm at Grace Lutheran Church of South Haven, rural French Lake, Minnesota

Visitation: 1 hour prior to the service at church.

Interment: Albion Free Cemetery following a Luncheon at Church

Pallbearers: Mark Nolan, Dan Nolan, Jim Nolan, Jeff Salmela, Curt Widmark, and Jerry Anderson.
