Ferrell, Jace B. 73 of Apple Valley, passed away 4/29/2015 at Regions Hospital of St. Paul. Survivors include brothers and sisters: Gary (Anne) Ferrell of Edina, Lori (Ronald) Seden of San Diago, Bryan Ferrell of Golden Valley, Michael (Joni) Ferrell of Tucson, AZ., Luann (Thomas) Zumwalde of Annandale. Memorial service 11 AM Saturday 5/16/2015 at Summit Church, 845 Summit Ave. St. Paul. Private interment Sylvan Cemetery of Howard Lake.
Jace Barry Ferrell was born in Cokato, Minnesota on September 14, 1941 to Guy and Iryne (Dietrich) Ferrell. He attended the Minnesota School for the Deaf in Faribault, MN graduating in 1962. Jace was very athletic participating in basketball, track and football. He went on to Dunwoody Institute graduating from the baking program in 1963.
Jace worked at bakeries in Annandale and Rockford, MN. Recent employment with Hilton Garden Inn in Shoreview and Eagan. He lived in downtown Minneapolis and attended Wesley United Methodist Church. In September of 2014 he moved to Apple Valley, MN. and attended Summit Church of St. Paul.
Jace enjoyed reading, walking and watching all sports. He traveled to the 1973 Deaf Olympics in Malmo, Sweden. Jace volunteered with Volunteers of America at Nicollet Towers in Mpls and Wesley United Methodist church.
Jace passed away on April 29, 2015. He had reached the age of 73 years, 7 months and 15 days. Survived by brothers and sisters: Gary (Anne) Ferrell, Lori (Ronald) Seden, Bryan Ferrell, Michael (Joni) Ferrell, Luann (Thomas) Zumwalde. Nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.
