Wuollet, Donald Keneth 78

Funeral service: 11 AM Monday August 29, 2011, at the new Laestadian Lutheran Church of Church of Cokato.

Donald Kenneth Wuollet, 78 of Cokato died Friday, August 26, 2011 surrounded by his family at home. He had been battling cancer.

 

Donald was born on May 25, 1933 at home in Cokato to Harry and Estella (Lofbach) Wuollet.

 

As a young boy he was raised on a farm, and at the age of 18, joined the U.S. Army. He served in the Korean War.

 

In 1953, Donald married Eva Grangroth in Cokato, and God blessed them with 19 children. Don and Eva made their first home in Minneapolis before moving back to their home area of Cokato.

 

Donald worked in the construction trade for over 40 years and retired in 1995.

 

Don loved his family.

 

He is survived by 18 children, 8 boys and 10 girls; Kenneth (Maureen) of New River, AZ, Stanley (Susan) of South Haven, MN, Gloria (Paul) Kotila of Cokato, MN, Lynn (Bill) Hannus of Cokato, MN, David (Stacey) of Champion, MN, Nathan (Anne) of Cokato, MN, Gail (Dale) Gullien of Ranier, OK, Cynthia (Lauri) Aho of Buffalo, MN, Joanne (Greg) Johnson of Dassel, MN, Carl (Jennifer) of Dassel, MN, Lana (Doug) Wisuri of Cokato, MN, Peter (Raina) of Phoenix, AZ, Henry (Buffy) of Delano, MN, Martha (Chris) Smith of Glendale, AZ, Mary (Darin) Fredrickson of Phoenix, AZ, Aaron of Cokato, MN, Anne (Aaron) Ortquist of Cokato, MN, Katie (Lars) Keplinger of Cokato, MN; 161 grandchildren and 77 great grandchildren.

 

Donald was preceded in death by one daughter, Tina, his parents, grandparents and 4 grandchildren.
