Margaret Mary Kramer, was born at Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin on August 24, 1926 to John and Gertrude (Gokey) Fernette. She grew up in Prairie du Chien and graduated from High School there in 1944. After High School she went to Milwaukee and took a job at the Allis Chalmers Plant.
On July 12, 1949 Margaret married Roger Joseph Kramer. They Lived in Prairie du Chien, until 1956 when they moved to Davenport, Iowa. There She worked for the North Scott School District. In 1969 Roger and Margaret purchased the Tenderland Beef Company in Davenport and operated it until retirement in 1995.
Margaret enjoyed golf, fishing, music and word games. She passed away at Cokato Manor on April 15, 2016, she had reached the age of 89 years, 7 months and 21 days.
Survivors include her children: Marsha (Robert) Cale of Ste. Genevieve, Missouri. Sharon (Mike) Quilty of Buffalo, Minnesota. Mark (Jan) Kramer of Foley, Alabama, Todd Kramer of Davenport Iowa. 6 grandchildren and 8great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by: her parents John and Gertrude Fernette, husband Roger Kramer. And her brothers and sisters.
There will be a private family service and interment at St. Ann’s Church in Long Grove Iowa.
