Hapsch, Mary Elizabeth 82

Mary Elizabeth Hapsch was born on the 4th of July in 1932 to John and Cecelia (Zeller) Collins in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She grew up in Minneapolis and graduated from High School. On August 18, 1956 Mary married Harold Hapsch in Minneapolis at the Church of Visitation. The couple made their home first in Minneapolis and moved to Howard Lake in 1972 to be able to raise horses and their 7 daughters. In the early 80′s Mary was involved in an auto accident and became a longtime resident of the St. Mary’s Care Center of Winsted.
Mary worked for Linhardt Insurance company at the Foshay Tower for many years. She also worked at Green Giant of Cokato on the cutters in 1978. She had many hobbies, in her younger days she enjoyed her horses, bowling, needle work, singing, playing cards, and reading. Most recently she enjoyed bingo, The Minnesota Twins, going to lunch and the movies.
Mary passed away on March18, 2015 at Waconia Ridgeview Hospital. She had reached the age of 82 years, 7 months and 14 days.
Survivors include her 7 daughters: Lia (Mark) Jensen of Litchfield, Ann (Paul) Miller of Warba, MN. Laura Hapsch of Winsted, Renee (Mike Klucas) Hapsch of Hancock, MN. Leslie (Shawn Heaver) Hapsch of Glencoe, Maria (Kevin) Antil of Cokato, and Emily (Glenn) Gruenhagen of Watkins. Grand children: Jason (Cassy) Moe, Kelly Moe, Ashley Miller, Kayla Miller, Michael Allgood, Alley Allgood, Stephen (Kira) Slinde, Ryan Grahn, Haley Klucas, Bradley Klucas, Rachael (Andrew) Winters, Brittany (Kelly) Muscha, Derek Antil. Great grand children: Lydia Moe, Austin Winters, Gracelyn Winters Emma Muscha, and Jemma Slinde.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents John and Cecelia Collins, husband Harold, and brothers: Frank, Charles and Jack.

Funeral Service: 11:30 AM Saturday, March 21, 2015 at St. Mary’s Care Center of Winsted.
Visitation: 1 hr prior to service
Interment: Ft. Snelling National Cemetery
