Farber, Chad 49

Chad Farber, a beloved husband and father, age 49, of Cokato Minnesota passed away Sunday, October 24th 2021.
Chad was a devoted, kind, lighthearted family man who would have laid down his life for his family if needed. He loved nothing more than to go on adventures with his family to the many state parks, only a few of which were left to visit.
Trucking and farming were a couple of Chad’s passions. Chad was a true modern-day cowboy. He loved to hit the road at all hours of the day and drive on the open road. If Chad wasn’t driving a big rig, he was reading or watching shows about driving when he sat down for a rare moment. Farming is what Chad did from the time he was too little to reach the pedals on his uncles’ tractors. The call of the land never left him. He always had a desire to plant a garden in the spring and harvest in the fall, being sure to only use his Oliver tractor.
Woodworking, leather repair and planting hundreds of trees every year on his farm were some of his other many hobbies.
Chad’s devotion to his family and sense of humor will be unmatched for years to come and very much missed. He was so generous with his time and talents that he was always first in line to lend a helping hand when needed.
Chad was survived by his wife of 21 years, Mary; his two sons, Ethan and Nathaniel; and Father, Leroy Farber. He was preceded in death by his mother Pamela (Rolf) Farber.
A memorial service will take place November 3rd, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Silver Lake, Minnesota with a reviewal starting at 10 am.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to go to Ethan and Nathaniel’s further education.
