Falk, Robert Theodore

Robert Theodore Falk, 84 of Cokato (formerly of Baudette) passed away at home on Novewmber 8, 2012

Memorial Service for Robert will be: 2PM Thursday, November 15, 2012, at the First Congregational Church of Baudette.

8th, 2012 in Cokato, Minnesota.

He was born September 3, 1928 in Brainerd, Minnesota to Agnes (Anderson) and Harold Falk.

He served in th US Navy from 1949
- 1955 and maintained many lifetime friendships from his “Navy Days”.

On June 24, 1953 he married the love of his life, Joyce Marie Aykens, and
eventually moved to Baudette, MN with Joyce and son Rob in 1960 where Rick and Jill were
later born. Bob retired from federal service in 1979 at the Baudette Air Force
Station. He continued to live in Baudette and started the Bob Falk Insurance
Agency which he worked until finally retiring to hunt, fish, and travel. He
especially enjoyed Alaska trips where he could always be found at his favorite
fishing hole (especially by the game warden)!

Bob was a member of the Baudette
American Legion Post 217, VFW, and Moose Lodge for more than 50 years. He was
also a dedicated member of the Masonic Lodge, OSIRIS Lodge #242, initiated June 5, 1962, passed September 18, 1962 and raised October 16, 1962.
He served and led as Master of the Masonic Lodge.

He was an avid hunter and
fisherman. Family and friends have many colorful stories of hunting deer,
ducks, pheasants, and more. Fishing was a passion from salmon fishing in Alaska and Lake
Superior to walleye fishing in Lake of the Woods and Rainy River.

He is survived by his wife Joyce
residing in Cokato, MN, son Rob (wife Marilyn) of Port Orchard, WA, son Richard
(wife Jennifer) of Chugiak, AK, and daughter Jill (husband Jake) of Cokato, MN.

Falk of Port Orchard, WA, Carla Nielson of Baudette, MN, Leah Lutgens and Troy
Lutgens of Cokato, MN,
