Carlson, John Arthur
age 77, of Cokato passed away on June 12, 2017. He was born June 10, 1940 in Stockholm Township, MN to George and Alice (Krueger) Carlson. John Graduated from Cokato High School in 1958. He was united in marriage to Darlene Groskreutz on February 17, 1968 in Litchfield, MN. This union was blessed with 2 children.
John worked at Thelander department store and the movie theater in Cokato. For the last 30 years, he worked for the state of Minnesota.
Survived by his wife of 49 years, Darlene, and children, Jeff and Jackie.
Preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Ardis Schultz.
A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at the Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery in Cokato, with a time of gathering beginning at 10:30 AM.
