Bohnsack, Blake Reuben
age 7 months, of Dassel passed away in his sleep on March 19, 2016. He was born July 27, 2015 to Andy and Annette (Olson) Bohnsack. Blake was baptized on November 29, 2015 at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Cokato.
Blake was his daddy’s pride, his momma’s joy, and his big sister’s best friend. His big bright smile, two little teeth, and giggles will be remembered by all who knew him. Blake had just learned to sit and crawl. He loved to chew on toys and make his wheelie chair go REALLY fast. Blake learned patience and resilience from his aggressively affectionate big sister, Betty. He beamed with happiness when his momma would wake him up in the morning, singing songs and saying prayers; he would peacefully fall asleep in his daddy’s arms. Blake loved to be held and we are comforted knowing he is forever in Jesus’ arms. He left us too soon, but we can rejoice in knowing that we will see him again.
Preceded in death by his great-grandma Ellen, great-grandpa Reuben, great-grandpa Conrad, and great-grandpa LeRoy.
Survived by his parents, big sister Betty, grandparents Bruce and Susan Bohnsack, grandparents Randy and SuAnn Olson, great-grandparents Selma Bohnsack, Donna Sellman, Don and Laverne Olson, and Harriet Johnson, aunts and uncles Ben (Jennifer) Bohnsack, Jenny (Ryan) Olson, Jake (Bobbi) Bohnsack, Chris (Beky) Olson, and Matthew (Sherlynn) Olson, and cousins Bridget, Heidi, Megan, Isabella, Gracie, Elena, Lydia, and Benjamin.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 with visitation from 4-8 PM on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 with 8 PM prayer and continuing 1 hour prior to the service Wednesday all at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Cokato.
