Carole Jean Wieseler October 21st, 1942 – January 20th, 2026
Carole Wieseler passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 20th, 2026.
Carole was born in Hutchinson and raised “on the farm” in Hector. Upon graduating from McPhail School of Music in Minneapolis, meeting and marrying Joseph Wieseler, they chose to raise their family in Howard Lake.
Carole used her passion and gift of music to serve, encourage and bless multiple generations within her community. Carole taught at several school districts, instructed numerous students from Carole J’s Music Studio, directed many church choirs, and most fondly instilled a love for music in her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Carole was a capable, independent, and self-sufficient woman. Whether it was running a business, knitting, gardening, canning, home maintenance, and even small engine repair, when need or interest came to Carole’s attention, she was determined to learn.
Carole was committed to and loved the people of her community. She took the time to stop and show an interest in those whose lives intersected with hers. It was especially important to Carole to connect with her brothers and sisters in Christ at Good Shepherd Free Lutheran in Cokato.
Carole’s family and friends surrounded her in her last days. She was loved well.
The greatest aim and comfort for Carole was her faith in Jesus Christ. Though we will miss her immensely, we rest assured and rejoice that she is with her Savior.
Carole is survived by her children: Jerry, Robin (Ross) Narragon, Diann (Guy) Chaffee, Bret (Erica), Heath (Geri), Andrea (Grant) Frey; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters: Linda Loney, Arlys Ewer, Georganne (Curt) Danielson; brother Richard Ewer.
A Service will take place at Good Shepherd Free Lutheran Church in Cokato, Minnesota on Saturday, February 7 at 10:00 am with visitation one hour prior. Arrangements by Swanson Peterson Funeral Home & Cremation services of Cokato & Howard Lake, MN 320 543 3401, swansonpeterson.com
