Visits with family and friends were always special to her. She participated for many years as a member of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League and the ABC Bible study group. She attended Naomi Guild helping to make quilts for others. She was a member of the Howard Lake Good Samaritan Auxiliary. She began volunteering at the Howard Lake Good Samaritan in 1992 making popcorn, serving coffee and goodies, helping with hymn sings and serving root beer floats. Grace was quoted, “I’m thankful to God for all His blessings to me. Without Him, I couldn’t get far, so it’s good to keep him close by always.” She loved God and family.
