Alice Anna Wolfsteller took the hand of her savior on Thursday, August 1, 2019 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. Alice was born to William and Lena (Trottman) Schmieg on October 20, 1918 in Hale Township, Silver Lake, Minnesota. She was baptized on November 17, 1918 at the St. James Lutheran Parsonage in Howard Lake. She was confirmed on March 29, 1931 by Reverend C.G. Seltz at St. James Lutheran. Alice married Carl Wolfsteller on October 20, 1938 at St. James Lutheran Church by Reverend Eugene Seltz. They where blessed with 64 years of marriage. Carl passed away on August 15, 2001. Alice was an active member of St. James Lutheran all of her life. She was the school cook there for 17 years and was famous for her chili and “Sloppy Joe Fridays.” Other activities at church included LWML, Altar Guild, Sunday school teacher, quilting, baptism banners, and visitor cards. She continued to be the leader of Priscilla Bible Study until her death. She was known as a very good source for St. James Church history.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Carl, brother, Raymond, and sister, Vernice.
Left to mourn are her sister-in-law Ruby and her husband Don Drusch, many nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Blessed be her memory.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 with visitation beginning at noon at St. James Lutheran Church in Howard Lake. Trelstad, Timothy John 59

Timothy John Trelstad, Born April 29, 1960 passed away on July 25, 2019. Tim was proceeded in death by his father Melvin Trelstad and survived by his mother Loretta Trelstad and sibilings Mathew (Joanne) Trelstad, Paula Van Dusen, Michael Trelstad, Lori (Mike) Smith, Jeffery Trelstad and Sarah (Paul) Lindahl. Tim was survived by 22 nieces and nephews and 7 great nieces and nephews. Tim was employed by Cliff Veissmann Inc. for over 15 years as a truck driver where he made many lasting friendships. Tim owned a home in Madison, MN for over 10 years. A yearly highlight for him was his motorcycle vacation that he took with his cousins. He had a real appreciation for Harley Davidson motorcycles and a great love for his dogs which were his constant companions. Tim will be greatly missed and a void will be felt by all who loved him. Willard Weller passed away at Haven Homes of Maple Plain on July 26, 2019.

Willard Eugene Weller, was born December 26, 1924 to Richard SR. and Luella (Townsend) Weller, at Delano, Minnesota. He joined the United States Army on November 10, 1945 served as a Military Policeman and was honorably discharged on January 10, 1947.
After service he purchased a farm near Howard Lake, Minnesota and Married Irene Warn in 1957. To this union 2 children; Gail and Scott were born.
Willard started working for Swartz Manufacturing of Lester Prairie in 1965 and in 1970 went to work at Van Dale-Fleming Manufacturing as a punch press operator he stayed for 25 ½ years.
After retirement Willard went to small engines school via mail. He worked at Carlson Orchard and Village Ranch as a dish washer in the kitchen. He was 88 years old when he totally retired.
Willard loved the out doors, he had a good sense of humor, and loved his family.
Willard passed away at Haven Homes of Maple Plain, Minnesota on July 26, 2019. He had reached the age of 94 years, and 7 months. He is survived by: children Gail (Doug) Bergstrom of Howard Lake. and Scott (Brenda) Weller of Clear Lake. Grand children: Nicolle (Andrew) Sawatzke of Buffalo their children Kayden and Addison. Travis (Shannon) Bergstrom of Howard Lake their children Wyatt and Ruby. Justin (Auden) Weller of Sauk Rapids, and Jeremy (Kylie) of Brooklyn Park. Brother Richard Weller Jr. of Howard Lake, and sister Varona Seth of Winsted.
Willard is preceded in death by: his parents Richard Sr. and Luella, wife Irene, Sisters Rosalee Boeson, and Hazel Oberpriller.

Reimer, Frederic Henry 78
Frederic (“Freddy”) Henry Reimer was born November 29, 1940 in Waverly, MN to Frederic Anthony and Lorraine (Mahlstedt) Reimer. He grew up on the family farm in Howard Lake, MN. Frederic proudly served the Wright County Sheriff’s Department for over 50 years from 1964, initially on the Reserve Unit, until he retired for the final time in 2016 in the Civil Park Patrol Unit. He also worked for the Buffalo Block Company and later Anchor Block Company. Frederic enjoyed wood working, family ancestry, and feeding his birds. He was very active in his church.
Frederic passed away at his home in Montrose, MN on July 18, 2019 at the age of 78 years. He is survived by his children, John (Son Hui) Reimer, Julie (Randy) Latzig, Jody (Jim) Churchill, Jennifer (Rob) Bliven, Jeff (Charlotte) Reimer; step children, Lori Schmidt, Rick Anderson, Lisa Anderson, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Frederic was preceded in death by his parents, wife Marie, brother Phillip Reimer, and sister Linda Zabel.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 from 5-7 with 7:00 PM prayer at Swanson-Peterson Funeral Home in Howard Lake, MN. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at Bethlehem United Church of Christ in Maple Lake, MN with visitation 1 hour prior to the service at church. Martha B. Gausman of Cokato passed away on June 26, 2019 at Cokato Manor.

Martha Bertha Gausman was born March 6th 1927 near Frazee, Minnesota to Edward and Frieda (Fisher) Mischke. She attended country school and was confirmed at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Evergreen Township. She graduated from Frazee High School in 1945.
She attended beautician’s school in Mason City, Iowa and later had beauty shops in Jeffers, Minnesota and Cokato above the old State Bank Building.
On July 11, 1953 she was married at Detroit Lakes, MN. To Kenneth Gausman. They lived at Oak Knoll, Navarre, and Maple Plain and since 1968, at Cokato. She had beauty shops in her homes for many years, and later worked at Airtex in Cokato, where she made many friends.
Her hobbies were reading, baking, especially chocolate chip cookies, quilt making, garage sales and collecting glassware. She was a member of Gethsemane Lutheran Church of Dassel.
Martha passed away on June 26th, 2019 at Cokato Manor; she had reached the age of 92 years, 3 months and 20 days. She is survived by: son Russell Gausman of Cokato, daughters: Mary (Mike) Schmidt of Nelson, Sharon (Manford) Peterson of Litchfield, four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and many nephews, nieces and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth, parents, four sisters, one brother, and two nieces.
