Pauline Lucile Martinson (Clements) was born on May 28, 1922 near Braddock,
North Dakota on a farm called Killdeer Knob
to Guy and Ellen Marie (Jacobson) Clements.

She joined 2 sisters Golda & Katherine, when she was
about a year old they moved to Littlefork, Minnesota.
Two brothers were born into the family, James and John.

Pauline attended all 12 grades at Littlefork, graduating in
1940.  From 1940 to 1945 she worked at
various jobs, in the fall she attended the North West Institute of Technology,
where she trained to be a Medical Technician.
In 1946 she went to Columbus, Indiana
where she was employed at the county hospital until 1949.  Coming home to Minnesota,
Pauline and her mother moved to Cokato where she was employed at the Cokato
Hospital.

February 24, 1950
she was married to Arnold J. Martinson, to this union was born three sons:
John, Bruce, and James.

Pauline was an active church member at Elim Mission Church
of Cokato; she especially enjoyed the Dorcus group.  She was also an active community member:
Cokato Ambulance, Red Cross to name a couple.
She was also an avid reader and enjoyed quilting needle pointing and
crosstiching, she was especially fond of spending time at the “cabin”.  Most important was her family.

Pauline passed away on December 16, 2012 at the Hutchinson
Community Hospital,
surrounded by many family members.  She
had reached the age of 90 years, 6 months and 18 days.

She is survived by her sons: John (Kristie), Bruce
(Shelley), and Jim (Debbie).
Grandchildren: Leah, Amy, Jimmy (Janell), Erik (Erin),
Jessie (Austin), Joey, Charstyn,
Dan, Hope, and Adam.
Great-grandchildren: Jordan,
Averie, Madelyn, Gavin, Easton,
Emma Pauline and Gracelyn.  Pauline was
preceded in death by her parents, husband Arnie, and sisters Golda and
Katherine.

Leonard Richard Kapellusch passed away on December 15, 2012 at the Lakewood
Health System of Staples, Minnesota. He had reached the age of 62 years 11
months and 16 days.

Lenny was born on December 31, 1949 in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin to Leonard
and Gladys (Van marten) Kapellusch. He grew up in the Pewaukee and Waukesha area
in Wisconsin.

On August 9 1975 Lenny was married to Una Burau at St. James Lutheran Church
by Pastor Gary Lodholz. August 9, 2000, on their 25 wedding anniversary, they
renewed their vows in Sturgis South Dakota. The couple made their home in Howard
Lake, Minnesota.

Through the years Lenny was an owner-operator truck driver, a roller operator
at Omann Bro. and also drove truck for Randal Trucking and C.A.R. trucking.

He enjoyed collecting, fixing and riding motorcycles, hunting, reading Louis
L’amour and The Edge series of western books and watching old western and
classic movies.  He enjoyed fixing up and working his hobby farm and being
surrounded by all of  his “critters”.

He also enjoyed traveling, driving through nearly every state and taking a
vacation Norway.  He also took his family on many vacations to Florida, the
Badlands of South Dakota and Wisconsin Dells.

Leonard is survived by his wife Una of Howard Lake,  four daughters:  Deanna
of Dassel, Mandy of Howard Lake, Jenny of Howard Lake and Kendy of Ohio, three
grand children: Donovan, Carrie Ann, and Seth Michael, great-grand daughter:
Madison and two sisters: Barbara of Vesper, Wisconsin, and Sally of Henderson,
Kentucky.

He was preceded in death by his parents Leonard and Gladys , son Terry, and
Brother-in-law Bill SR.

Lenny was well liked and respected by those who knew him and none will forget
his wry sense of humor and dry wit.

Heinrich Erwin Donovan was born in Minneapolis,
Minnesota on December 6, 1952, to Maurice and Ada
(Keenan) Donovan.  He grew up in Minnetonka,
and graduated from Minnetonka High
School in 1970.
Heinrich joined the Coast Guard and served from 1971-1974.

On May 7 1977,
Heinrich married Cheryl Liestman. in Excelsior.
They made their home in Minnetonka
first, and in 1985 moved to the Howard
Lake and Winsted area.  Heinrich has worked first at landscaping,
then in the construction industry, retiring in 2005.

Heinrich enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, hunting,
cutting wood, sports and Howard Lake Orphans base ball.

On December 11,
2012 Heinrich passed away at Abbot Northwestern Hospital of
Minneapolis from the complications of leukemia.
He had reached the age of 60 years and 5 days.

Survivors include: wife Cheryl of Howard Lake, Children:
Thomas (Jennifer) of Minnetrista, Jennifer Donovan of Howard Lake, Matthew
Donovan of Howard Lake, Angela Donovan of Montrose and Amanda Donovan of Howard
Lake.  Grand children: Christian Donovan,
Connor Donovan, Hailey Donovan, Mya Holmers, Macey Hess and Taylor Skiles.  Brother Jack (Sue) Donovan of Maple Grove,
and sisters: Janet Boswell of El Paso, Texas,
and Patricia Clark of Minneapolis.

Heinrich was preceded in death by his parents, Maurice and Ada
and brother Gary Donovan.

Funeral Services for Heinrich Donovan will be held at 2PM on Sunday
12/16/2012 at Swanson-Peterson Funeral Home of Howard Lake.  Visitation will begin at noon.  Interment
will be at Ft. Snelling
National Cemetery,
on Tuesday December 18 at 10:15 AM.

LeRoy A. Hanson

LeRoy A. Hanson, age 92, of rural South Haven died Dec 12^th, 2012 at Lakeside Health Care Center of Dassel.

He was born at home in French Lake Twp on August 11^th, 1920 to Fred and Edith (Ortquist) Hanson. LeRoy attended Lee Country School of rural French Lake, and honorably served his country as an M.P. in the U.S. Army during World War II in the South Pacific and was a member of the American Legion. He also was a long-time active member of Grace Lutheran Church and served on the church and cemetery boards.

LeRoy was united in marriage to Gladys Johnson on October 11^th, 1947. They farmed the family farm and he was also employed by Russell Morris Tiling, Cokato Lumberyard, and Northland Canning of Cokato. He enjoyed farming and was remembered for his wonderful garden.

He is survived by his wife Gladys of rural South Haven, brother Herbert (Ellen) Hanson of St. Cloud, brother-in-law Floyd Isaacson of Cokato, children Keith (Joanie) Hanson of South Haven, Maxine (Kim) Cates of Kingston, Barry (Laura) Hanson of Annandale, Peggy (Tom) Steinman of Willmar, and Nancy (Roger) Mann of Grand Rapids; 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and Care Center roommate and good friend Don Danielson. LeRoy was preceded in death by his parents, sister Rosilyn Isaacson, and 1 grandson – Paul Cates.

Funeral services will take place at 2:00 pm on Sunday, December 16^th, 2012, at Grace Lutheran Church in rural South Haven. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Pallbearers are his grandchildren and honorary pallbearers are the great-grandchildren. Interment with military honors by Kingston American Legion at Grace Lutheran Cemetery will follow the service.

Marie Eleanor Nolan, age 70, of French Lake, passed away peacefully Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Marie was born Oct. 21, 1942, to Harry and Eleanor (Gunderson) Salmela. She was a 1960 graduate of Cokato High School. Marie married Harlen (Harley) Nolan Dec. 3, 1960. She worked for 16 years at Richwell Furniture in Cokato, and at Miller Manufacturing for 14 years.Marie looked forward to spending as much time as possible with her family and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Harley, of French Lake; sons Mark (Nancy), and Dan (Deborah), all of Cokato; grandchildren Penny (Adam) Miller, Chrissy (Matthew) Olson, and Derek Nolan; and great-grandchildren Isaac and Savannah Miller, Hunter Olson, and one more baby on the way. Marie is further survived by her brother, Ron (Kathy) Salmela; a sister-in-law, Pat Salmela; many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Robert Salmela.

Funeral service: Sunday, December 9^th, 2012, 2:00 pm at Grace Lutheran Church of South Haven, rural French Lake, Minnesota

Visitation: 1 hour prior to the service at church.

Interment: Albion Free Cemetery following a Luncheon at Church

Pallbearers: Mark Nolan, Dan Nolan, Jim Nolan, Jeff Salmela, Curt Widmark, and Jerry Anderson.
