Cody Richard LaFave was born July 22, 1993, at Buffalo, Minnesota, to Dale LaFave and Linda (Muonio) LaFave.  He grew up in St. Cloud, Minnesota.  He was confirmed at Atonement Lutheran Church of St. Cloud and graduated from Apollo High School in 2011.  Cody went on to live in Maple Lake and work for his mentor and friend, Tom Segner, at Kapseg Farms.

Cody was very artistic as a youth and he enjoyed drawing very intricate pictures. As he grew he became interested in skateboarding, bicycling, snowboarding, football, basketball, wrestling, swimming, snowmobiling, boxing, shooting pool, darts and hunting. Most recently he built his own pulling truck, gone to tractor pulls, loved farming, welding, mechanics and John Deere.  Most of all Cody loved to spend time with his family and friends.  He loved babies and children.  He was a member of the National Tractor Pullers Association and Atonement Lutheran Church of St. Cloud.

Cody passed away in a snowmobile accident on March 22, 2013 at the Whispering Pines Golf Course of Annandale. He had reached the age of 19 years, and 8 months.

Survivors include: parents Dale LaFave and Linda (Muonio) LaFave, grandparents: Jerry and Judy LaFave, Dennis and Elsie Muonio, great grandparent: Bud Marquette. He’s also survived by many, many, many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. He leaves behind his special friends, Mojo and Diesel (his dogs).

Cody was preceded in death by: great grand parents: Florence and Edwin Muonio, Melvin and Linda Niska, Marie and Leo LaFave and Doris Marquette. Also preceded by uncles: Gunner LaFave and Daniel Muonio. We remember also cousins, great aunts and uncles and friends that have gone before.

Jeanette Marie Johnson was born in Cokato Township on March 9, 1924 to Edwin and Victoria (Peterson) Johnson. She was baptized at home and confirmed at North Crow River Lutheran Church in Knapp, MN.

Jeanette began her formal education at Knapp and Birch Lake country schools. In 1941 she graduated from Cokato High School. In 1946, Jeanette graduated from Registered Nurse’s training at Swedish Hospital in Minneapolis. Nursing became her lifetime career, working at Cokato Hospital, Augsburg College, Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar, Dassel Lakeside Home, Ebenezer Home in Buffalo, and at home, caring for her mother, Victoria, afflicted with Alzheimer’s.

Succeeding her parents in custodial work, Jeanette continued working in her church for over 20 years.

In May of 2005, Jeanette suffered a debilitating stroke; yet her sense of humor and caring, giving spirit still persevered. March 21,2013 was Jeanette’s last day in her earthly life. She leaves a legacy of active volunteerism, kindness, thoughtfulness, and compassion throughout her church and community.

Timothy Alan Keskey, was born on April 15, 1960 in Minneapolis,
Minnesota to Melvin and Joanne (Hanson)
Keskey.  When Tim was 9 the family moved
to the family farm in Cokato.  He
attended Temperance Corner
School and graduated in 1978 from Dassel-Cokato
High School.  After High School he attended Minneapolis
Community College graduating with
and Associates Degree.

“Timbo” lived and worked for a time in Arizona
as a landscaper.  He came home and worked
for uncle Clifford Keskey and later Design and Fabricating of Cokato.  Most recently Ag Systems of Hutchinson.

Timothy enjoyed: swimming, fishing, canoeing, camping,
shooting, motorcycling and 4 wheeling.
He enjoyed cooking and eating and loved to sauna.  He liked to visit with friends and relatives,
was very active in his church St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran of Darwin, and
did missionary work at the county jail.
He enjoyed a good deal at the swap meet or thrift store.

Tim passed away in an auto accident on March16, 2013, East
of Kingston, Minnesota.  He had reached
the age of 52 years, 11 months and 1 day.

Survivors include: father Melvin of Cokato, Sisters: Rebecca
(Barry) Gustafson of Cokato, and Mary (Steve) Torola of Cokato, and brother
Erick (Amy) Keskey of Cokato.  Nieces and
Nephews: Emily, Andrew, Hailey, Hannah, Dustin, Nathan, Nicole, Daven, Danielle
and Dustin.

Tim is preceded in death by his
mother, Joanne.

Gary William Debner of Maple Lake, Minnesota passed away on March 17, 2013 at the Buffalo Hospital.

Gary William Debner, age 67, of Maple
Lake passed away on 3/17/13 of sudden cardiac arrest.

Gary was born in Glencoe, Minnesota on May 5th, 1945
to William and JeAnnette (Maack) Debner.  He grew up in Plato and
graduated from Glencoe High School in 1963.
He went on to Mankato State University and graduated with a degree in
Economics and Math.

On October 1st, 1966 Gary married Patricia Evelyn Simmons,
at St. Anne’s Catholic Church of Le Seuer.  The couple lived first in Mankato,
then Plymouth, then Wayzata, then Buffalo.
After Patricia passed away on July 28^th, 2010 Gary made his
home in Big Lake, then Maple Lake for the past 5 months.  Gary worked in the
IT field for IDS/American Express Financial,
where he retired after 35 years.

Gary’s passions included hunting, fishing and sports where
he was a participant beginning in his youth, baseball and basketball being his
favorite.  His passion for baseball,
where he led his high school and town team, presented him with offers of sports
scholarships.  He chose to attend Mankato
State on an academic scholarship where he played collegiate baseball as well.  Following his playing days he also coached
youth baseball for many years.  In his
recent years Gary enjoyed spending time with his family and was an avid sports
enthusiast, willing to share conversation with anyone about recent games, plays
and stats.

Gary is preceded in death by his parents, William and JeAnnette
Debner; his wife Patricia Debner; his infant daughter Elizabeth.

Survived by his children, Kristin (Richard) Lord of
Monticello and Michael (April) Debner of Howard Lake; his grandchildren, Amber,
Jessica, Aiden and Ian; his sisters, Lavonne Carlbloom of Glencoe and Virginia
(Arlo) Schultz of Elk River; his cousins, nieces and nephews.

Humola, Roger William 75 of Annandale. Passed away at his home on
3/4/2013.

Roger William Humola, was born in Cokato. Minnesota
on April 26, 1937, to Issac
and Lillian (Johnson) Humola.  He grew up
in Cokato and graduated from Cokato High
School in 1954.
He went on to Gustavus College
for a year and then to the University
of Minnesota for 2 years.

On October 26,
1957 Roger married Mary Ann Hill, at the Evangelical Lutheran
Church of Cokato.  The couple lived first
in Robbinsdale from 1957 to 1967, then Golden Valley
until 1986, then Plymouth until
1997, and Annandale since then.  Roger has worked in various financial
institutions, rising from bank manager to vice president/manager.

Roger enjoyed being a handyman, (his “Rent-A-Retiree”
business was his last job and he also worked on his children’s
homes).  Boating, fishing, golfing, deer
hunting, traveling, spending time with family and of course spoiling his
children and grandchildren were his passions through the years. He loved Sunday
brunch with their church friends and Thursday “Hamburger Nights” in Maple Lake.

Roger was President of Coon Rapids Rotary Club, on the board
of directors for Anoka Chamber of Commerce, member of Coon Rapids Development
Corporation, he was on the Fridley Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, he
was President of the Institution of Financial Education, served on the church
council at Holy Nativity
Lutheran Church
in New Hope, MN.
served on finance and stewardship committees at Holy Nativity and Calvary
Lutheran of Golden Valley and he belonged to Kiwanis in Annandale.  He also taught confirmation classes and coached
his children’s sports teams such as baseball, softball and football.

Roger passed away at his home in Annandale
on March 4, 2013.  He had reached the age of  75 years, 10 months and 8 days.

Survivors include Wife: Mary Ann Humola. Children &
their families: Rita Humola-Nelson, husband Brian Nelson, daughter Paige Nelson
and son Dain Nelson.  Renee Martin,
husband Robert “Bob”, daughter Nicole and son Chad.  Randy Humola, children Kyrie Yaccarino, Chloe
and Carter Humola.

Roger is preceded in death by: his parents Issac William
“Bill” Humola and Lillian Humola (nee Johnson).
