Marjorie Eileen (Lenton) Selden, 21 April 1924 – 15 April 2016. Marge was born in Rochester, MN. In June of 1946 she married Ronald Henry Selden and had 4 children, Becky Jean, Susan Jill, Robert John (Carol) and David Joel. She is survived by Ron and her 4 children, sister Marietta and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Lorraine passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones at the home of her son Stephen South of Waverly on April 12, 2016.

Lorraine Emma Tussing (Larson) passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, April 12, 2016. She was born on January 30, 1924 in Bemidji, Minnesota to parents Carl Oscar and Thora Larson. She and her family moved to Minneapolis at age of 5. She graduated from South High School in 1942. She was a teller and worked in loans at the 5th N.W. National Bank in Minneapolis until retiring to marry Francis Joseph Tussing on May 31, 1952. She and Francis moved to Waverly in 1955 to begin dairy farming there.
Lorraine enjoyed cooking, baking, politics, reading mysteries and dancing. Her grandchildren gave her great joy and she helped raise several as infants. She loved to follow Francis’ love of horse racing and had some compete at Canterbury Park.
She enjoyed her fellowship with the Bible Study Group and also the Card Club in Waverly.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Francis Joseph Tussing, her sisters Delores Morehouse and Virginia Wellumson, her parents Carl Oscar and Thora Larson and many other family and friends.
She is survived by her children: Stephen Paul (Wanda) Tussing, Cynthia Lea (Mike Holmers) Tussing, Sharon Ann (John) Genty, Paula Jean Tussing, Joseph Francis Tussing, Thomas John (Christie) Tussing, Mark William (Ginny) Tussing, Amy Elizabeth (Craig) Tussing. 22 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and many brothers and sisters-in-law.

Krause, Roger Duane 78

Krause, Roger Duane
age 78, of Cokato passed away on April 10, 2016 at the Golden Living Center in Delano, MN. He was born November 13, 1937 at Ivanhoe, MN to Leo and Dorothy Krause. Roger graduated from Ivanhoe Public Schools in 1955. He was a 3 time letter winner in football, basketball, baseball, and track. Roger graduated from Winona State College in 1960 with a degree in elementary education. He began his teaching career in Spring Valley, MN and later at Cokato Elementary, where he retired in 1993.
Roger was one of the original members of the DC Saints baseball team. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed watching sports of all kinds. Roger loved his grandchildren and took great pride in all of their achievements.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Claire, sons, Rick (Katie), Rob, Mark (Julie), daughter, Sharon (John) Puchalski, grandchildren, Kellen Krause, Kelsey Krause, Makenzie Krause, Miranda Krause, Brock Puchalski, and sister, Norma (Bob) Chaput.
Roger is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Jerry, and sister, Brenda Andries.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, April 15, 2016 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Waverly, MN. Tolkkinen, Edwin Walter
age 86, of Cokato passed away on April 4, 2016 at his home. He was born August 16, 1929 to August and Ellen (Heikkila) Tolkkinen. Ed was born and raised in Minneapolis, in the area known as the “Near North Side” or “Finn Town.” He was baptized into the Lutheran faith on December 15, 1929 and confirmed on April 9, 1944 by Pastor Adolph North of the Apostolic Lutheran Church in Minneapolis. Ed was a current member of Mt. Olive Evangelical Lutheran Church in Delano, MN.
Ed graduated from North High School and attended the Minnesota School of Business until he was drafted into the U.S. Army during the Korean War, where he served as a high-speed radio operator in the Signal Corps, stationed in Sendai, Japan.
Survived by his loving wife of 54 2/3 years Sandra (Tulkki), children; Craig (Annette) of Dassel, MN, Connie (Dean) Jarvie of Jackson,WY, Carolyn (Lars) Impola of Delano, MN, Loren (Susan) of Menahga, MN, Christine (Richard) Pietila of Howell, MI, Brian (Katheryn) of Delano, MN, Michael of Montrose, MN, Joan (Christopher) Ramberg of Brighton, MI. 43 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. Along with brothers, William (Mary) of Fulton, MI, and Paul (Anita) of Big Lake, MN.
Preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Dorothy (Bob) Koski and Kathryn (Lawrence) Stonelake. Ed will be missed by numerous friends and relatives.
Funeral service: 2 PM Saturday April 9, at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church of Delano. Visitation: 4-8 PM Friday at Swanson-Peterson Funeral Home of Cokato, and 1hr prior to service at church on Saturday. Eva Florence Johnson passed away at her home in Plymouth, Minnesota on April 2, 2016, surrounded by her husband and family.
Funeral Service: 11 AM Friday, April 8, 2016, at First Apostolic Lutheran Church of Long Lake.
Visitation: 2 hours prior to service at church
Interment: Cokato Finnish Cemetery.

EVA FLORENCE JOHNSON (NEE: TULKKI)
Eva Johnson quietly and peacefully passed away, at her home on the 2nd of April 2016. She was a few days away from completing 90 years of life.
Eva was the youngest of the eight children of John and Amalia Tulkki. She was born on the family farm in Howard Lake, MN on the 5th of April 1926.
After graduating from Cokato High School in 1943, she moved to Minneapolis, MN and worked in office administration.
She married Robert R Johnson in 1945. Bob and Eva moved to Plymouth, MN in 1949 and then built their final home on an adjoining homesite in 1959.
Eva had 15 children. 11 boys and 4 girls. 
Stephen, Robert, Dagny Kangas (Jerry), Richard, Thomas, Loren (Bonnie), Gordon (Linda), Daryl, Barbara Eastman (Eric), JulieAnn Rahkola (John), Phillip, Stuart, Ronald, Timothy (Mari) and Heidi Rahkola (Kurt).
When Eva passed away, she had 138 descendants. 15 children, 48 grandchildren, 74 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild.
Preceding in death by her parents: John and Amalia Tulkki and her seven siblings: Raymond, Howard, Emil, John, Walter, Daniel and Agnes (Kosola). Her children: Dagny, Robert, Thomas and Phillip. Her grandchildren: John David Rahkola, Robert Johnson, Katie Rahkola and Thomas Rahkola. Her great grandchild: Larissa Tormanen.
Eva had abundant willingness to help and assist her family, relatives and people. She turned away no one. Despite numerous children of her own, she opened her doors to many children in the neighborhood. Her home became a place to “hang out”, play and was a sanctuary for many.
For the gift of serving others, she was blessed with the love of her many descendants, relatives and friends who cherished her.
She also was able to “stop by, at any time” for conversation and a free cup of coffee at the home of one of her many friends and relatives.
