Birkholz, Bradley Wilton 71

Bradley Wilton Birkholz, age 71, passed away at his home after a cardiopulmonary event. Though our hearts ache, we take comfort knowing he is now held safely in God’s care and surrounded by those who went before him.
Brad was born on April 28, 1954, and married Melanie Kay Sigman (now Lehtola). Together they brought four children into the world – Faith, Beau, Cameron, Shea. Brad was also an honorary dad to Brianna and Brandon Lehtola. Later in life, Brad began a loving relationship with Debra Gordon, finding happiness and companionship in their time together
Though Shea and Faith left this world too soon, their memories are woven into Bradley’s story, cherished and celebrated by those who loved them. Brad built his life around the steady, everyday things that meant the most to him: being outdoors, visiting with friends and family, and watching his grandchildren play together. Brad’s legacy lives on through his many grandchildren: Jaydn, Faustino, Carlos, Cesar, Saylah, Eliana, Charlie, Bane, Judson, Eva, Millie, and Addie. Though life brought him both joy and hardship, he met it with a tender heart and a spirit that persevered.
Brad was the son of the late Wilton and Phyllis Birkholz, the brother of Lucinda (Cindy) Woller and the late Brenda Phillips. Brad stayed close to his family, and he loved sharing stories – especially the ones with a little mischief mixed in. Cindy was a guardian angel in his life and was always present with a love that felt both like family and the support of a lifelong friend. Brad stayed close to his family, and he loved sharing stories – especially the ones with a little mischief mixed in. His adventurous spirit and loving heart continue to guide us, reminding us to cherish every moment and to live life fully.
Brad found joy in racing cars and spending time at the track with friends who became like brothers. He loved the fellowship as much as the thrill, racing alongside Mark, Sam, Jerry, and Fran. Their friendship made every lap more exciting and memorable. His love for dogs brought him steady companionship and peace. His home was warmed by their presence, and he was rarely without a loyal companion by his side.
He will be remembered for his honesty, quiet way of caring, and the faith that helped him through hard seasons. Brad was proud of his hardworking, God-fearing children, and he took joy in seeing his family grow.
As a family, we are grateful for the moments we shared – the simple ones, the funny ones, and the ones that showed Brad’s kind heart. Brad’s life was filled with love, faith, and helpfulness. He will be missed dearly and remembered always.
