Timothy Forsman, 58, of Cokato, MN passed away unexpectedly on February 6th, 2026. Tim, the youngest of six children born to Mae and Norman Forsman, was known for his booming laughter, big smile, sense of humor and warm heart. Tim attended DCHS where he could often be found on the baseball diamond, the football field or working at Forsman Farms. He continued on to play baseball for the DC Saints for 12 years. Tim was a fighter and beat cancer not only once, but twice. Through the hard times, he still prioritized family and friends and making people laugh. He spent the entirety of his career working for the USPS.
Some of Tim’s favorite activities included golf, playing cards and watching MN sports, and these activities were only made better when he did them with his kids, Alec and Paige. He loved spending time with Alec and Paige more than anything and always cherished the times they could all be together. Family was extremely important to Tim, and he was practically inseparable with his brothers and nephews. Tim had a larger than life personality and constantly pushed people to be better, which could often be seen on Wednesday nights at the Cokato golf course. His life and legacy will be celebrated forever and there are countless funny and warm memories that will live in our hearts and our community forever.
